REAL CONVERSATIONS.
REAL COMMUNITY.
HeadCase is a not-for-profit tackling mental health in a fresh, stigma-free way. Through live events with real stories, candid interviews, and open conversations, we create safe, inclusive spaces where people connect, share, and feel supported. Mental health should be as accessible as physical health - and that’s exactly how we treat it.
GET TO KNOW US
HeadCase is a Newfoundland & Labrador-based initiative focused on preventative mental health. We facilitate structured conversations where individuals can openly discuss mental health—long before challenges escalate.
Our approach centers on community conversations, where local speakers share authentic experiences followed by facilitated group discussions. Sessions are designed to be accessible and inclusive, meeting people where they are—workplaces, conferences, community hubs, and retreats.
By combining social innovation with measurable results, HeadCase generates actionable insights that complement traditional mental health supports and strategies.
WHAT WE DO
HeadCase creates stigma-free spaces where mental health stories can be safely told, heard, and reflected upon. HeadCase events combine ethical storytelling, peer reflection, and structured moderation to build community well-being outside the clinical system.

PRACTICAL SUPPORT
Practical support means suggesting tools people have used, using our own stories for guidance, and offering understanding that help people manage challenges, build resilience, and feel supported.
REAL STORIES
Real stories share authentic experiences, revealing struggles and triumphs, fostering understanding, connection, and empathy within a supportive community.
ACTIVE LISTENING
Active listening is giving full attention, without judgment, to understand someone, validating their feelings and creating a connection.
SAFE CONVERSATIONS
Safe conversations provide non-judgmental spaces where people can share openly, feel heard, and explore mental health without fear.
